Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Edwin E. Ford along with members, partners, and friends across the southeastern United States, strive to demonstrate the example of Christ to EVERYONE. In this body of believers, we are ABOUT our Father's Business! We are a FAITH based ministry that strives to operate in the LOVE and POWER of God. Our COMPASSION for God's people drives us to reach the lost, so we have built successful outreach programs. Lastly, we believe in the SUPERNATURAL power and ability of God! Only with God's love and grace are we able to do ANYTHING. Thus we fully understand, that it's not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6)

The Vision
With a Revelatory Word from God and as a Strengthener to the Brethren, Reverend Dr. Edwin E. Ford leads Crossroads For Life Ministries (CFLM) as the Founding Pastor. Committed to the full Gospel of Jesus Christ, Dr. Ford leads this Christ-centered, Non-denominational ministry with a powerful apostolic anointing of the Holy Spirit. God has equipped Dr. Ford with an anointed message of encouragement, healing and restoration while being ever mindful of the commission to win souls for the kingdom of God.
The Call
A strong heritage of family faith in Jesus Christ and a personal desire to pursue the plan that God designed for him, set the foundation for a journey through life that would bring Dr. Ford to the place in which God has him today, founding Pastor of Crossroads For Life Ministries. A childhood faith grew as first-hand experiences made it clear to Dr. Ford that God is real and that He is faithful to His children. With fervor and at God’s direction, Dr. Ford left the security of family and the familiarity of South Georgia to pursue the Word-based training that God had in store for him in Metro Atlanta. His wife, Lady Ford, continuously serves as a pillar in the ministry of CFLM and as “Chief Supporter” of Dr. Ford by standing alongside her husband in faithful service, dedicated prayer and unwavering love. Their four children, Beyunka, Edwin Jr., Heaven and Emani faithfully serve in ministry as a family and continue to grow in the faith of Jesus Christ.
God aggressively prepared Dr. Ford for the Call of God on his life by placing him in a ministry that propelled him to growth in God and broadened his view of ministry possibilities through Christ. Although still pursuing a secular career in Law Enforcement with the Georgia Department
of Corrections after graduating from Savannah State University, God’s plan was evident for Dr. Ford. After fifteen years of exemplary service, Dr. Ford adhered to the voice of God and retired to pursue the call of God full time. The synergy of his career in corrections and the facets of ministry can only be defined as uniquely and Godly intertwined.
The Ministry
A foundational mandate for Crossroads For Life Ministries is biblically based out of Deuteronomy 30:19 which presents the challenge to make a decision “…Behold, I have set before you today a blessing and a curse, the blessing if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today and the curse if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God.” This critical point of decision continues to evolve into many facets of the ministry which include the preached Word of God, extensive community outreach, leadership preparation and individual personal development---all with one central goal, “Putting People’s Lives Back On Track!”
This point of decision has propelled the ministry of Crossroads For Life Ministries since its inception in February 1994. Founder/Reverend Dr. Edwin E. Ford embraced the vision given by God and embarked upon the call with diligence and conviction. The earliest days of CFLM began as a bible study in the living room of the Ford home. Though challenges were inevitable, God blessed the ministry to grow and find favor with God. The year 1997 brought excitement and evidence of growth as CFLM moved into its location for the next seven years---1580 Flat Shoals Road in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Ford determinedly followed God’s leadership and in January 2005 led the ministry of Crossroads For Life Ministries to the west Metro Atlanta area of Douglasville, Georgia. The new found home for the ministry being 6754 West Church Street in downtown Douglasville. Ever mindful that God continuously calls us to greater things, Dr. Ford and the CFLM family took a leap of faith in November 2005 and acquired the location, 6800 Cedar Mountain Road in Douglasville, Georgia. This expansion enabled CFLM to adequately take the vision further by housing the church Life Center, Vision 21 Concepts, Inc. and New Start Resources. On January 27, 2006 through the favor of God, the ministry held its first service and the dedicational celebration of the new worship center. Currently and miraculously, the ministry celebrates on the campus that God has for Crossroads in the hub of Downtown Douglasville, on Bankhead Highway. This campus currently houses the School of Empowerment, Vision 21 Concepts, Inc. and the Men’s Assessment Center.
Branches of ministry also include the Voice of Life radio broadcast and the newsletter; The Conductor which has grown to become the literary arm of the ministry in the format of an innovative online magazine.
